- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- For the cream cheese layer:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
- For the strawberry layer:
- 1 package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin (Jell-O)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
- For the topping:
- Additional whipped topping
- Fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Make the crust: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Bake for 8–10 minutes, then let cool completely.
- Make the cream cheese layer: In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract; mix until combined. Fold in whipped topping. Spread evenly over cooled crust. Chill in the fridge while preparing the next layer.
- Prepare the strawberry layer: Dissolve strawberry gelatin in 1 cup boiling water, then stir in 1 cup cold water. Let cool for 10–15 minutes until slightly thickened, then fold in sliced strawberries.
- Carefully pour the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until fully set, at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Top and serve: Spread additional whipped topping over the top before serving. Garnish with fresh strawberries if desired. Slice and enjoy chilled.

- Make sure each layer is set before adding the next to prevent bleeding or mixing.
- Use fresh, ripe strawberries for best flavor and texture.
- You can substitute homemade whipped cream for Cool Whip if preferred.
