- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup yellow onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Sauce and Pasta
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 2 cups dry elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

Instructions

- Add minced garlic, salt, and pepper; cook for another minute.
- Stir in the beef broth, milk, ketchup, mustard, and dry macaroni. Bring to a simmer.
- Cover and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and liquid is mostly absorbed.
- Reduce heat to low and stir in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella until melted and creamy.
- Garnish with pickles or green onions if desired, and serve hot!
Notes
- Use ground turkey or plant-based meat for a lighter version.
- Add a dash of hot sauce for a spicy kick.
- Leftovers reheat well—store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
