Shrimp and Crab Nacho Biscuit Melts are a crispy, savory seafood twist on classic nachos—perfect for parties or indulgent snacks! Flaky biscuit bases are topped with succulent shrimp, sweet crab, gooey cheddar, and zesty seasonings, then baked to bubbly, golden perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1/2 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
- 1/2 cup lump crab meat
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup diced jalapeños (optional)
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Separate the biscuit dough and flatten each piece slightly to form small rounds. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a bowl, combine chopped shrimp, crab meat, garlic powder, paprika, and jalapeños (if using).
- Top each biscuit round with the seafood mixture and sprinkle generously with cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Top each with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
- Use pre-cooked shrimp and real lump crab for best flavor and texture.
- Substitute cheddar with Monterey Jack or pepper jack for a spicier kick.
- Serve with lime wedges for a citrusy finish.
- Can be prepped ahead and baked just before serving.
