- 4 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or brioche)
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- Optional: honey, cinnamon, or chocolate chips for extra flavor
Instructions
- Spread peanut butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
- Layer banana slices over the peanut butter on two of the slices. Add a drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of cinnamon or chocolate chips if desired.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, peanut butter side down, to form two sandwiches.
- Spread softened butter on the outsides of the sandwiches.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Grill sandwiches for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and heated through.
- Slice in half and serve warm.
