Ingredients
Scale
- 4 small round bread loaves
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bread loaves and hollow out the centers, leaving a sturdy shell.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley. Brush the inside and outside of each bread bowl with the garlic butter mixture.
- Place bread bowls on a baking sheet and bake for 5–7 minutes until slightly crisp.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine cooked chicken and Alfredo sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Heat until warmed through.
- Spoon the chicken Alfredo mixture evenly into each bread bowl.
- Top each with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Return to the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
Notes
- You can use rotisserie chicken for a quick shortcut.
- Try adding steamed broccoli or spinach to the filling for extra veggies.
- For a crispy cheese topping, broil for the last 1–2 minutes of baking.
